This Magic BR-1.3 CA has a black finished 154-CM steel blade and black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle with a patterned bolster release. The blade measures in at a little under two inches, making this automatic knife legal in California and other places with similar restrictions on automatic knives.
This knife doesn’t open intuitively for most people, but you’ll know the secret to its suave automatic action. The Magic BR-1 is a Mike “Whiskers” Allen design that utilizes a hidden bolster release; a simple, deliberate slide of the front bolster deploys the blade and also unlocks it.
