Rock-solid ambidextrous function is sure to tame the most die-hard of traditionalists. And you can grab onto the lightweight, handle with its grip-textured surface and rib covered spine that grabs you right back for a "can't let go" grip. The model 556-1 comes with gray G10 handle scales, blue G10 accents, blue barrel spacers and a reversible deep carry pocket clip for right or left side carry. The blade steel has also been upgraded on this model to CPM-20CV stainless steel. CPM-20CV is virtually identical in chemical composition to Benchmade's current M390 steel but is made in the US by Niagara as opposed to Bohler which is based Austria. It offers better edge retention but is not quite as tough to resharpen as M390.
The ESEE-4P-B fixed blade knife features gray linen Micarta scales and a black finished 1095 steel blade with a plain cutting edge. Includes a black polymer sheath, paracord, and cord lock.
ESEE knives are made from high carbon 1095 steel. And while 1095 is a top choice for professional cutlery designed for hard use, it will rust and stain if not properly cared for, especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user's responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. ESEE Knives suggest using a dry film rust inhibitor such as TUF-GLIDE or TUF-CLOTH.

Companion is used in a huge variety of situations by a range of users: bush crafters, hunters and outdoor enthusiasts have all discovered the charm of this knife. The blade is made of Swedish stainless steel, which makes it easy to maintain and keeps the blade sharper for longer. It has a soft, friction grip handle made of TPE rubber, which makes the knife feel safe and steady to work with. The polymer knife sheath has a practical belt clip for attaching the knife to a rucksack or a belt – always close at hand.

By pushing both sides of the pivot at the same time, the handle splits apart to reveal the blade. With gravity and a flick of the wrist, the Warlock's blade emerges and locks in place.
